Sahara Blue

Wearing nothing but his signature blue beaded pendant one night, Sahara Blue Drummond aches to have someone in his bed, in his life. His obsession with smoking hot blogger Lotus teases him, but it’s not enough to exchange comments online. He wants touch.

When the ex Navy SEAL rescues Seth Hollis the shy, reclusive man immediately appeals to the protector in Sahara. Sahara wants to wrap his fist in soft wavy hair while holding Seth’s earnest brown eyes, yet Seth is keeping a secret from him and it has also attracted the attention of someone deadly. Someone who wants to hurt Seth…unless Sahara can keep him safe.

Jan Irving made me a very happy reader and fan in this spin-off of Mastering Toby. In this story she brought Sahara Blue from Mastering Toby to the storefront, so to speak. In the first book he played a secondary character who helped Jared as a surrogate Master while Jared was away. That scene was hot! Sahara Blue, a very unique name to be sure, is also a Master of his own accord. He’s an ex-Navy Seal man; he’s very private, and very lonely. He loves the ocean and lives very close to Jared and Toby on his own house boat. To break the boredom he spends time on the Internet at one particular Blog by a guy named, Lotus. If you like angst, D/s, hot man loving? This is the book for you--Michele at Michele 'n Lisa Reviews.

From the moment I opened the cover until I read the last word I was riveted. Jan has created another winner. A perfect sequel to "Mastering Toby"--Lily Sawyer.

Excerpt from Sahara Blue

Seth heard Sahara Blue return in the early morning hours but feigned sleep; unsure of how to handle being in the alluring man’s bed, especially after he’d excited himself so much by what he’d written as Lotus.

He heard the crinkle of Sahara unwrapping the mystery package he’d noticed earlier and when the man disappeared, Seth sat up to take a look. In the moonlight, he made out the serene face of an Asian statue, he thought maybe Balinese. He touched the blond stone in wonder. Why did he think there was some significance connected to himself in Sahara having the piece? He shook his head. He had to be off.

When he heard Sahara return a short time later, he snapped his eyes closed. Finally, Sahara stopped his restless pacing and got into the bed with Seth. Seth lay rigid, unsure of what to do. He’d never slept with another person in his life.

Sahara shifted closer and Seth felt his hand stroke his bottom. A moment later, Sahara tugged down the material of his boxers and then Seth felt him rub against him. Sahara gave a pained sound and then thrust against Seth, hand gripping his hip gently.

Sahara held him, trembling, breathing hard. “Seth,” he whispered.
